Assassin’s Creed: the new setting will be the Hundred Years War?

During the past few hours, a famous leaker has anticipated the probable setting and exit window of the new chapter of Assassin’s Creed.

It has now become a recurrence to try to guess the setting of the next Assassin’s Creed: while recent rumors indicated the Medieval China as a new place of reference, during the past few hours a well-known leaker has predicted that the next chapter will have a completely different setting.

As you well know, the historic branded franchise Ubisoft he had the opportunity to visit different historical periods. This side of the game has always fascinated fans of the famous saga and, this year, it was assumed it could be the turn of China or India, with a presumably female protagonist.

During the past few hours, however, the user of Reddit PerformerRelevant465 has reported a video on Youtube published by the leaker j0nathan, famous for his advances on the Assassin’s Creed saga, often proved to be reliable. Within the footage in question, the man provided us some clues showing symbols, places and other images, to try to discover something.

The analyzes made by users have led to say that in the new chapter of Assassin’s Creed we should have to deal with the Hundred Years War: probably with a setting in Germany, although at the moment it would seem that the eyes are more focused on the region of Lorraine, north-east of the France.

The redditor also pointed out an interesting comment under the video, in which he claims to have been able to decipher the code: according to the latter, the results would seem to confirm the actual development of the game (which took place in Bulgaria, especially in the capital Sofia), and the probable release window would be 2022.

According to the leak, therefore, we will not see any Assassin’s Creed before next year and this is not surprising at all, also given the numerous expansion projects planned for this year, as regards the latest title released, Valhalla. Despite this, as repeated above, it is thought that the next chapter is already currently in development.

What we can do now is wait for the arrival of new official news which, most likely, will be delayed. We would like to specify that nothing has been confirmed from Ubisoft or whoever is responsible, therefore we invite you to take the above strictly with pliers.
