Yesterday (September 27) the software house Blizzard announced that for the first time in the history of BlizzCon it will be possible to live from home exactly the same experience as the people who will physically go to the event. In fact it has been said that the holders of this year’s virtual ticket (which we have extensively discussed in this article) will be able to play the demo of World of Warcraft Classic just as if they were physically attending the event.
This playable test, developed specifically for the BlizzCon 2018aims to recreate a part di Azeroth that players can explore by completing two low-level missions (one Horde it’s a alliance).
The Demo will be playable, both for players al BlizzCon and for those at home, from 2 November, shortly after the opening ceremony of the fair, until 18:00 (CET) on 8 November. The developers of Blizzard have released a statement in which they are excited about what is happening thanks to this year’s virtual tickets:
We’re thrilled to be bringing this BlizzCon experience to more people than ever before, and with more interactive virtual ticket features that will allow online viewers to vote and help shape the show, this BlizzCon is shaping up to be the biggest gathering of our community ever.
In addition, all participants in the BlizzCon and virtual ticket buyers can already get several commemorative content for major Blizzard. Below you can find the list of special game items revealed so far:
- War Mantle of the Horde and War Mantle of the Alliance (World of Warcraft).
- Hero of Stormwind War Banner and Hero of Orgrimmar War Banner (World of Warcraft).
- Legendary “demon hunter” model for Sombra (Overwatch).
- “Grugnaguzzo” mount and much more (Heroes of the Storm).
