Bloodborne – Guide to where to find all the weapons in the game
Weapons in Bloodborne are essential to survive, in this guide we will explain how and where to find them in the game world.
In Bloodborne, beloved game FromSoftware, you will take on the role of a very skilled hunter with weapons. In the right hand you can hold the sidearms, while with the left the firearms (except when you hold the weapon in its secondary form, which for almost all weapons is equivalent to using it with two hands). Getting them all will also unlock the trophy Essence of the Hunter. In this guide we will show you what they are and where to find them.
ATTENTION: by continuing to read this guide you will surely find yourself in front of SPOILERS related to the plot of Bloodborne, and therefore we advise you to continue reading the article only if you have already finished the game and if you are looking for the weapons to complete your collection .
Right hand: sidearms
Ax of the Hunter
You can choose it at the beginning of the game, or buy it in the shop, after recovering the Ax Hunter badge in the sewers of Yharnam.
You can choose it early in the game, or you can buy it in the shop after getting the badge in the Yharnam Sewers.
It is a weapon that you can choose at the beginning of the game, or buy in the Hunter’s Dream after taking the badge in the sewers of Yharnam.
By defeating the Beast Cleric you will get the badge to unlock the weapon in the shop.
Ludwig’s sacred blade
Starting from the lantern in the Oedon Chapel (Cathedral Ward), enter the door on the right and take the elevator. This door will only open after you defeat the Bloodthirsty Beast. Cross the bridge and then go up the tower. Just before you get to the door in the room at the top, you’ll see a chest containing the badge that will unlock the weapon in the Hunter’s Dream Shop. Know that it is one of the most powerful of Bloodborne.
To get this sort of sword you will first need to get the hunter’s badge Eileen and to do so you can complete its secondary mission or kill it.
After defeating Martyr Logarius, you will encounter Annalize at the top of Cainhurst Castle. Kneel in front of her to join the Felbloods and get the badge that you will need to unlock the weapon in the shop. There is also another option, which is if Alfred kills Annalize before getting the sword, take the badge from her corpse and use it at the gap behind the area where Ebrietas, the Daughter of the Cosmos is located. In this way you will bring Annalize back to life and you will get the sword.
Wheel of Logarius
Give Alfred an item called Closed Summons and then return to Cainhurst. You can find her in the Vilesblood throne room, on a table to Queen Annalize’s right. Alfred, on the other hand, is at Cathedral Ward, near the entrance to the Forbidden Woods, after having eliminated Vicar Amelia. You will get the Hunter’s Crest with Wheel.
Searching Cainhurst Castle you will find it inside a chest.
You can buy it in the Hunter’s Dream after obtaining the Powder Keg Hunter symbol. You can get the badge in two ways: in the first it is to eliminate Djura, the hunter with the machine gun who is at the top of the tower in Old Yharnam, while in the second case you can complete his secondary mission and he will give it to you of his own free will.
When you are in Old Yharnam, search the area under the tower where Djura is, where there is another hunter ally around. Look carefully to the left of the wall with the ladder that takes you back to the area you were in when Djura starts shooting at you for the first time, because from there you can descend on a balcony. Go down and enter the house you see, eliminate the opponents and go up the stairs. Just before you get to the top floor, peek through the closets on the left to find this weapon. If you got the badge in the Yharnam Sewers, you can buy it in the shop.
It can be found by searching a body in Advent Plaza.
Claw of the Beast
Can only be found in the Chalice of Loran Dungeons. Look in the second part of the Ailing Loran.
After passing the gate at the end of the game, you will be prompted to make a choice. By choosing “Reject” you will start the fight with Gherman. After the fight, if you defeat him, you will get the weapon.
Left hand: firearms
It is a weapon that you can choose at the beginning of the game or buy it in the shop with the badge.
You can also choose this weapon at the beginning of the game or buy it in the shop with the badge.
It can be found in various places in Old Yharnam.
It can be found nearby from one of the first Brutes you will meet, exactly the one who knocks on the large wooden door in the square with the fountain in Central Yharnam.
You will get the badge to buy it at the shop when you defeat the Beast Cleric.
Exit the Oedon Chapel starting from the lantern going straight, then go up the long flight of stairs to the top. You will get it by interacting with the slumped corpse to the right of the large gate.
Starting from the Oedon chapel, enter the door on the right and take the elevator. Remember that this door will only open after beating the Bloodthirsty Beast. Cross the bridge and go up to the tower in front of you. Just before reaching the door of the small room at the top is a chest containing the relevant badge.
It is found in the chest in the center of the three tables in Cainhurst Castle. To reach the chest you have to roll from the ladder onto one of the tables.
Talk to NPC Gilbert. This is the man at the window in front of the first lantern you will encounter in Bloodborne. Please, come back and talk to him after you kill Father Gascoigne, but BEFORE you kill Vicar Amelia and start the night.
It is hidden among the beams of the largest building in the Forbidden Woods, the one behind the man who shoots you with the cannon. Look for a window that overlooks the external balcony to be able to reach other stairs, go over the beams and then search the corpse that is leaning against a gear.
You will find the relevant badge in the darker room in the Church Choir area.
