Captain America 4: Anthony Mackie will be the protagonist

Actor Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be featured in the Captain America 4 feature.

It looks like the actor Anthony Mackie, known in Marvel Cinematic Universe for playing the role of Falcon, has signed the contract that formalizes its presence in the next Captain America film.

THE Marvel Studios and the CEO Kevin Feige they keep a great deal of secrecy about the details of the film and it is not yet clear if he will be involved too Sebastian Stan (the Sondato d’Inverno, or White Wolf, as he was nicknamed during his rehabilitation period in Wakanda, to free himself from Hydra’s control over his mind).

The actor duo appeared together in the hit Disney + series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, for which a second season was announced. The next Captain America film (unofficially titled Captain America 4) will therefore see Anthony Mackie as one of the main roles.

On the ending of Avengers: Endgame Steve Rogers he had left the precious shield to Sam Wilson (Falcon), so that he could inherit his ideals and use it as a symbol of the battles that the American hero had always faced.

While he didn’t feel worthy to wield it, Falcon fought to deserve it and learn how to use it to the fullest during the events that unfolded in the first season of the Disney + series, and is now ready to carry it with pride and in the right way.

Alongside the White Wolf, Sam faced the danger of the Flag Smasher (Flagbreaker), rediscovering the emotions experienced alongside Steve Rogers and observing the psychological and emotional collapse of the new Captain America, appointed by the United States so that the shield would continue to be a symbol for the world even after the passing of Steve Rogers. John Walker, the newly appointed superhero, proved unworthy to wear the shield, and Sam had to fight to get it back.

The hand that made The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the writer and creator, is currently at work on Captain America 4 Malcolm Spellman, in collaboration with Dalan Musson. For the film, however, the director is still missing, and doubts regarding a possible return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers have not yet been denied, nor confirmed.
