Cowboy Bebop: announced when Netflix live-action will be released

Cowboy Bebop will be a new live-action adaptation produced by Netflix due out next fall season. Here’s a first look.

In recent times, the most popular video streaming platform in the world, Netflix, has offered more and more varied and disparate live-action from the world of manga, anime and cartoons in general. However, the final result was not always as initially hoped, but this does not mean that the will to continue has been appeased, offering the public a new product based on the anime. Cowboy Bebop.

The long-awaited adaptation, the first orphan of an exit window, was finally announced for this fall during Netflix Geeked Wek. The sci-fi series with a noir and western theme, will also present, among other things, a new music by the original composer of the anime, Yoko Kanno.

The only negative note inherent in the announcement was the lack of a presentation trailer or any type of video that could show a first taste of the final product coming out in about 4 months.

However, we have learned the names of some cast members who seem to fit well into the roles of their alter-egos. John Cho will be Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir will be Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda will play the role of Faye Valentine.

Cowboy Bebop was initially considered by Netflix as a possible live-action adaptation of the iconic animated series back in 2017. Only a year later the production works were officially announced. The lead actors, also unveiled later in 2019, see John Cho as the show’s lead actor.

The animated series, consisting of 26 episodes, will be adapted into a project written by one of the writers of Thor: Ragnarok, that is Christopher Yost, and it will be composed of 10 episodes.

All that remains is to wait a few more months before finally being able to preview the new Netflix show and know the official and definitive release date ahead of time. In the meantime, through the tweet proposed a little above, we can take a first look at the protagonists.
