Crash and Spyro will have their animated series on Apple TV +
Apple would have won the rights to produce the animated series starring the beloved Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon.
It’s official. Crash Bandicoot And Spyro the Dragon will have their own animated series on Apple TV +. According to what emerged in the last few hours, the Cupertino house would be awarded by Activision the rights to produce the animation shows dedicated to the two beloved videogame characters.
Although at the moment very few details are known about the agreement, according to information released by Buzzfeed, the streaming service of the US giant would have given the green light to produce two seasons with the very nice peramele as the absolute protagonist.
The show, made by Activision Blizzard Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks, should be called The Adventures of Crash Bandicoot and be structured as an animated comedy suitable for a young audience.
As for the animated series dedicated to the iconic purple dragon, entitled Spyro the Dragon’s Guide to Treasure Hunting, also in this case the production will be intended for an audience of children and produced by Apple Studios, Activision Blizzard Studios, JibJab Bros. and by the Canadian animation studio The Volta.
Unfortunately for now we do not know what events will be told within the animated series, but the two shows are expected to debut exclusively on Apple TV + in 2022.
