Detroit: Become Human already exceeded 3 million units sold
Detroit: Become Human is the latest installment in Quantic Dreams, and In the more than a year and a half that it has been on the market, it has managed to sell 3.2 million copies. Although it does not reach the levels of other great successes of the PS4, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man or God of War, it does represent a great milestone for the company.
The total will surely continue to rise here in the near future. Quantic Dream is set to bring Detroit: Become Human to PC sometime this fall., opening up the game to a whole new audience. No release date has currently been given for Detroit’s arrival on PC, but we’ll likely hear something soon.
It’s also worth noting that although Detroit has had over 3 million sales, the number of players he has achieved is probably a bit higher. This is due to the fact that the game was a PS Plus title earlier this year in July. While those downloads wouldn’t translate into direct sales, it’s fair to assume that the number of people who have played the game is over 3.2 million.
With all this, Quantic Dream has to be satisfied with the way Detroit: Become Human has performed so far. We’ll have to wait and see if this success translates to whatever projects the studio may be working on next.
