Google has removed the first generation Pixel from its official store

The Google Pixels were the first bet of the Mountain View company to conquer the mobile phone market, the company launched two versions: Pixel and Pixel XLIt is clear which of them is better. The devices were released at the end of 2016, both versions have Snapdragon 835, the same used by most high-end devices until now.

Now, after almost two years since the launch of the first generation of Pixel mobiles, it seems that the company is no longer selling its first phone in its official store. It has also been removed from the page ProjectFi of Google. However, the Google Pixel can be purchased on other sites such as eBay or amazon, they are also still available in Verizon. The non-existence on the Google site does not mean that the phone is not good, in fact it is a good option since it is now under $450.

Like all manufacturers, after a while they stop producing phones, now it’s Google’s turn with the Pixel. However, the device will still receive support from the company, but it seems that it will only reach Android P. A few weeks ago we were able to see the first unofficial version for developers of Android 9.0 for these terminals, it means that in a few months we will be able to see this version of the system.

When the Pixels were just launched, they were one of the best options in the high range, their camera and performance stood out, now have been superseded by the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. We will be able to see more details of the phones that the company currently plans for the coming months.
