Today a new report tells us that the California giant aims to reduce this excessive use thanks to a new function in which it is currently working.

A recent report indicates that Google you are working on a new feature for your browser Chrome, which at the moment has been called as “Add Best Effort Disabled Tasks to Chrome Indicators”, which aims to reduce excessive use of RAM. Currently we cannot know the exact operation of this new functionality, but according to the source, once launched the option will be disabled by default, but it can be activated through the “Flags” tab of Chrome. The main reason why the browser uses too much RAM is that it runs several processors in the background, since its system is based on dividing the tab, the plug-in and the extension, once the new function “Disable best effort tasks” is available, not all tasks of the lowest priority will run.
