HBO creates another streaming service to compete against Netflix
In United States, Friends will leave the Netflix service in 2020but you don’t have to worry, because the series has already found a new home thanks hbomax, new streaming service warnermedia which will be released in spring 2020.
So is, WarnerMedia will join forces with HBO to create a streaming service that will compete against Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus. On HBO Max we can find series such as the previously mentioned, Friends, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Pretty Little Liars, as well as productions by Greg Berlanti and Reese Witherspoon.
We can also find content from other networks on HBO Max, such as: Warner Bros., New Line, DC Entertainment, CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, The CW, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, Rooster Teeth, and looney tunes.
It is not yet known how the synergy between HBO Go and HBO Max will work. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, the service will have an estimated price between 16 and 17 dollars per month and will probably have a package that includes HBO and Cinemax.
