Here the first details of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake
After multiple leaks, including one from Ubisoft earlier today, it has been confirmed that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will have a remaster, which will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 21, 2021, and will be compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X, and below you can check new details about this title.
According to Eurogamer, this remake will be the first game where Ubisoft Mumbai and Ubisoft Pune work as the lead developers. Previously, these studies will help in projects like Just Dance and Steep. Similarly, it has been revealed that The Sands of Time will use a new version of Anvil, the engine used for Assassin’s Creed, and will feature new controls for combat, camera and visuals.
Although the aforementioned studios are in charge of this remake, with Pierre Sylvain-Gires as the director and Annu Koul in the position of senior producer, Jordan Mechner, creator of Prince of Persia, participated during pre-production by providing queries about the game.
As you probably noticed in the reveal trailer, Yuri Lowenthal, the original actor behind the Prince, reprises his role for this remake. On the other hand, actress Supinder Wraich, famous for her participation in the Guidestones series, will play Farah. Speaking of which, it has been confirmed that the game will feature new voice recordings and motion captures by the actors.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on January 21, 2021. At the moment there is no information about the alleged version of Nintendo Switch. Similarly, you can watch the reveal trailer for this game here.
