iOS 11.3.1 arrives to solve problems on the screens of your iPhones


After almost a month of the release of iOS 11.3, version 11.3.1 now arrives for all users, this small update fixes some bugs that came with the previous version. Apple includes the fix for a major issue where people using third-party repair services to replace their screens, which they stopped responding to your devices after a while.

The release notes They state “iOS 11.3.1 improves the security of your iPhone or iPad and fixes an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 8 devices because they had non-genuine replacement screens.” Apple warns that using an aftermarket part in your phone may affect visual quality and cause it to malfunction.

A similar issue has happened before on iPhone 7s, a previous iOS update temporarily rendered the phone’s touch screen inoperable. iOS 11.4 is in development and being tested in an early version, the next update will include features like AirPlay 2 and Messages in iCloud. When having a problem, it is best to go directly to the manufacturer, since the repairs are made by experts and with genuine screens, the change by third parties can cause major problems.

To check if there is an update available you can go to settings > General > Software update, an alert should appear there if you have a new version available. In conclusion It is not recommended to put non-original parts on mobiles as they may be incompatible and/or render it unusable.. Apple always tries to fix problems on its devices as quickly as possible so that users do not have any inconvenience when using it.
