Monster Hunter Rise’s First Big Update Will Be Available… Tomorrow

A special presentation was held today where Capcom revealed new information about the additional content that will come to Monster Hunter Rise. Thus, the company has confirmed that the first major update of this title, which will allow us to hunt new monsters and more, will be available this week.

To begin with, on April 28, update 2.0 will arrive, which is free, and will allow us to hunt five new creatures. These are: Apex Diablos, Apex Rathalos, Teostra, Kushala Daora, and Chameleos. Similarly, new armor and weapons will be included. Some monsters in their Apex version will be available to hunt without the need to enter Rampage mode. New special events will be added, which you can enjoy offline.

As for the paid content, A new DLC pack with more hairstyles, stickers, poses, special armor, and voices will be available for purchase starting April 28. Although this is paid content, it does not affect the main gameplay in any way, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on any special content.

Similarly, Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will have a crossover, since by having information about these games on your Switch, you will receive special costumes. This is not all, since at the end of May we will see version 3.0, which, in addition to giving us the opportunity to hunt more monsters, will add a new ending to the game, as well as a special Rampage mission.

Remember, Update 2.0 is coming to Monster Hunter Rise tomorrow, April 28. You can check our review of the game here.
