Through a special video (at the top of the news) comes the confirmation that Narcos: Mexico, the first of which came out last November, will have a second season. The stories related to the modern war centered on Mexican drugs will then continue, with the great actors Diego Luna And Michael Peña.
Narcos: Mexico tells the origins of the modern Mexican drug war, going straight to its roots. The conflict begins at a time when Mexican drug traffickers were a disorganized confederation of growers and traders and follows the subsequent establishment of the Guadalajara cartel in the 1980s, whenFélix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the lead, uniting all the traffickers and building an empire. When the agent of the DEA Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) moves with his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take up his new position, quickly realizing that his role will be far more complicated than he could have imagined.
Narcos: Mexico is produced by Gaumont Television for Netflix. Eric Newman is a writer and executive producer. José Padilha, Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard are the executive producers.
