Pete Hines on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett: “I have no idea how big the change can be”

Not all titles of Bethesda currently in development will see the light on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, especially if we talk about the only mentioned Starfield And The Elder Scrolls 6. already from E3 in June there was talk of the almost concrete certainty that these titles will arrive in the next generation of consoles. Talking about the new consoles in the design phase, it was for the company Pete Hines, senior vice president of PR and Global Marketing.
During an interview with Yahoo, he made some statements about these new machines, saying that he is aware of some interesting details, most of which, however, cannot be disclosed:
I’m curious to see how it will look and how it will be different. I am aware of some things that I obviously cannot talk about, but there are also many others that I am not sure of yet… and above all I have no idea how big the change can be.
Pete Hines then went on to make comparisons with past generations:
The transition from Xbox and PS2 and Xbox 360 and PS3 was quite evident, because we moved to high definition and it was an important phase. It was like going from night to day. Then came Xbox One and PS4, and there wasn’t the same feeling. How much the situation will change in the future I cannot say. The rest of the problem doesn’t interest me because I don’t deal with the art, the code or the design. What matters to me is what the developers think. What they need and what kind of power and functionality they are looking for.
What will be the qualitative gap between the two generations in your opinion? Tell us in the comments!
