PS Store and Microsoft Store are refusing to refund Cyberpunk 2077 money
Yesterday CD Projekt issued a statement apologizing for the launch of Cyberpunk on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. To calm things down, it advised dissatisfied users to return their money through physical and digital stores. Important patches will arrive in January and February 2021, but not everyone is willing to wait.
The problem is that both the Playstation Store and the Microsoft Store are refusing to return the money for the game, hiding behind these clauses.
“After purchasing this type of content on the PlayStation Store, you have 14 days from the time of purchase to request a refund. If you have started downloading or playing the purchased content, you will not be able to receive a refund unless the content is defective”.
All sales of Digital Game Products are considered final, but we understand there may be extenuating circumstances. “
Others have had more luck:
“I had to fill out an online complaint to support and wait for over an hour to speak to someone, however they were quick to get a refund and so they removed the game from my library”
