Resident Evil Re: Verse postponed, will not be released along with Village
Resident Evil Re: Verse has been officially postponed for a few months. This was communicated by Capcom through e-mails to its “ambassadors”.
Fans of the most famous horror videogame saga in the world will surely be in trepidation for the arrival of Resident Evil Village, the eighth installment of the series that will be released on all major gaming consoles in early May. On the other hand, the fans who were anxiously waiting to get their hands on could be in a completely different mood Resident Evil Re: Verse, that is to say the multiplayer component of the now postponed episode.
The game dedicated to online, in fact, was planned to coincide with the next RE Village May 7. Following a communication made a few hours ago by the same Capcom to those it considers the “Resident Evil ambassadors”, through an email the company communicated that Resident Evil Re: Verse has been pushed back to this summer. Not even a precise date, but a generic time window of 3 summer months and a communication saying that “The Resident Evil Re: Verse service will start this summer, apparently it is no longer scheduled to launch together with RE Village on May 7. “.
Unfortunately, fueling this disappointment is the apparent lack of motivation for this extension a few days after the official launch, which would have given an even stronger boost to sales of the eighth chapter.
For those unfamiliar with the saga in question, or not interested in these last two episodes close to the release, know that RE Re: Verse is a competitive multiplayer shooter, in which players will have to control a series of heroes or villains during battles. Enemies, once killed, can become biological weapons and attack other players. On the net you can find many videos following the beta test out in the past.
Regarding the eighth main chapter, starting from May 1st it will be possible to download and play the demo on all major gaming consoles and, on May 7, will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
