With the Nintendo Direct for E3 2021 just days away, fans are looking forward to seeing a slew of updates from The Legend of Zelda, especially considering that 2021 marks the 35th anniversary of the series. Although a collection is a possibility, others are finally looking forward to a fresh look at Breath of the Wild 2. Nevertheless, a new report from an insider has bad news for these people.
Recently, PracticalBrush12 user, who has leaked information about E3 2021 and rightly shared all the announcements from the past Direct, mentioned on Reedit that Nintendo does not plan to release the sequel to Breath of the Wild this year, and this game would not be present at the next digital conference of the company, although this last point is only a guess.
At the moment there is no official information from Nintendo, outside of a calendar where Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 do not have a release date. With rumors of a collection for the Switch, which emerged after a GameStop poster was leaked, there is the possibility of seeing something related to the series of The Legend of Zelda next June 15. We can only wait for some kind of official announcement.
The Nintendo Direct for E3 2021 will take place on June 15 at 11:00 AM (Mexico City time).
