Scientists discover a new organ in the human body
Several scientists confirmed the discovery of an organ inside the human body.
The portal Huffington Post published an article explaining that various investigations carried out by scientists around the world led to the discovery of a new organ in the human body.
J Calvin Coffey, of the university of limerick, in Ireland, pointed out that “in the investigation it is stated that we have an organ in the body that was not known until now,” according to the portal.
The organ, called mesentery, is located in the digestive system and connects one of the intestines with the abdomen.
“This organ is far from being fragmented and complex, it is rather a simple and continuous structure.Calvin Coffey said.
The mesentery could be key to treating various abdominal and digestive diseases, which would mean fewer invasive surgeries.
Research is now focused on verifying its functionality within the human body.
It should be noted that Gray’s Anatomy, one of the reference books of current human medicine, has already been updated with the new discovery.
