The Chant is the new psychological survival horror unveiled by Koch Media
The Chant is the new and intriguing psychological survival horror developed by Brass Token and presented during E3 2021 by Koch Media.
As many of you will surely know recently the much talked about Koch PrimeTime has ended, an event held in the midst ofE3 2021 during which Koch Media has unveiled some of the videogame news that we will see coming in the future, works among which it also figures The Chant.
At present we still know very little about the production under development at the Canadian team Brass Token, but for the moment it has been announced that the game will be configured as a survival horror mixed with a psychological thriller where players will have to fight tooth and nail to bring home the skin.
Horror is a genre that especially in recent years has seen a great proliferation of independent and Triple A productions and that is why the software house seems to be eager to offer the public a unique production, capable of keeping the player glued from the introduction to the credits.
According to what has been revealed, in-game we will find ourselves facing the ancient mysteries of a now forgotten cult that will lead us to explore the darkest and most terrifying meanders of the universe, where horrible beings are waiting for nothing but the next victim to be torn apart.
Spirituality and cultism will be the pillars of the experience, which will offer particularly lively situations flanked by more disturbing and reflective phases. The game, with a third-person view, will see us immersed in terrifying environments and dreamlike features in which to face dangerous enemies who will move in the shadows, although often it will be better to run away rather than charge with head down.
For the moment we still don’t know when The Chant will be released – we have to settle for a generic 2022 – although it has been confirmed that production will arrive on both PC and console, but the development team has made it known that they are working tirelessly on the project and that juicy news about it will arrive in the coming months.
