Video compares the technical aspect of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X

Cyberpunk 2077 suffers from major problems on the base versions of the PS4 and Xbox One. A couple of days ago, Digital Foundry, who specialize in the technical aspect of games, came to comment that these were a disaster. Now, they recently posted another video, this time focused on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, where things are better.

In terms of resolution, Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 reaches 900p dynamically, while the maximum on Xbox One is 810p, with the possibility of downloading more. Nevertheless, In One X, we can see how this aspect reaches up to 1674p, and in PS4 Pro it reaches 1188p.

The frame rate is one of the aspects that suffers the most in the base versions of the last generation consoles, since none manages to maintain 30fps constantly, and we see how this section in Sony and Microsoft hardware drops to 16fps in several occasions. Nevertheless, One X and PS4 Pro deliver more consistent 30fps performance, although there are still some falls.

If you don’t have a PC, the best way to play Cyberpunk 2077 right now is a PS5 and Xbox Series X, which offer higher resolution and frame rate, as well as the ability to render larger crowds in the city. However, if you don’t have access to these consoles, it seems that a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X are your best options on consoles.
