What never hit: machine to facilitate human childbirth inspired by elephants

The centrifugal force device was created to help childbirth. The mother was laid on a large stretcher with her legs spread apart and tied up, everything…

surrounded by a giant circumference that rotated the next mother on its own axis.

It was 1965 when it began to be understood that the baby came out of the womb thanks to the force applied by the mother’s muscles and this equipment would make it easier due to the centrifugal force that would do half the work and would allow that when the child came out a mesh would act as a container.

Not much is known about this little machine because it could not be marketed, but it is attributed to the Americans George B. Blonsky and Charlotte E. Blonsky, a couple who were inspired by the difficult birth of an elephant.
