The phrase of the day: Pedro Farré, SGAE

Pedro Farré is the director of the Relations and Corporate Governance Office of the General Society of Authors of Spain. Yesterday, he participated in the Mírate room, in a round table on intellectual property in audiovisual support.

-What do you think of «Copy left»? (movement that advocates the free circulation of ideas)

-It is a movement encouraged by dark interests. There are those who want to take away intellectual property for their own benefit. The technology sector wants to take over intellectual property and expel traditional agents, such as producers or distributors, from the audiovisual chain, so they can enter and pay as little as possible. Microsoft, Google and other technology companies are behind this movement.
