The requirements to maintain the free GUM .Mac account change

One of the best resources of the GUM (Mac user groups) is that they had a free .Mac account, but this has changed since from now on the requirements to get said account have increased.

According to mugcenter, a website dedicated to the GUM, the GUMS ambassadors will have to take courses in the Apple Sales Training Online (ASTO) program whose objective to date was to train Apple’s commercial network. These ambassadors will have to obtain 2,000 points to get a .Mac account.

Comment that the usual score is usually between 200 or 400 points depending on the course (software, hardware, services).

We recommend that users review the conditions of their current .Mac accounts as well as the necessary requirements to be able to maintain them.
